DECREE No. 204/2004/ND-CP of December 14, 2004 on salary regimes applicable to officials, public employees, public servants and armed force personnel

This Decree prescribes the common minimum salary; salary tables; salary allowance regimes; salary promotion regime; salary payment regime; funding sources for implementation of salary regimes; management of salaries and incomes of officials, public employees and public servants in agencies and non-business units of the State; commune, ward and township full-time officials and public employees; officers, professional armymen, non-commissioned officers, soldiers and workers in armed forces’ agencies and units.

The salary regimes prescribed in this Decree apply as from October 1, 2004.
