TOEIC tập trung vào từ vựng pháp lý trong bối cảnh kinh doanh — contract, terms, breach, compliance, amendment, liability. Các từ chuyên sâu hơn (plaintiff, affidavit, subpoena) hiếm xuất hiện nhưng nếu gặp ở Part 7, bạn cần hiểu nghĩa để trả lời câu hỏi. 30 từ đầu tiên trong danh sách là trọng tâm nhất.
Phân biệt terms, clause, provision?
Terms (số nhiều) = toàn bộ điều khoản của hợp đồng — bao quát nhất. Clause = một điều khoản cụ thể đánh số (Clause 5.2). Provision = quy định chi tiết trong một điều khoản. Trong TOEIC, cả ba thường dùng thay thế nhau, nhưng terms phổ biến nhất.
Breach và violate khác nhau thế nào?
Breach thường dùng với contract/agreement (vi phạm hợp đồng). Violate thường dùng với law/regulation/rule (vi phạm luật/quy định). Ví dụ: "breach of contract" nhưng "violate safety regulations". Trong TOEIC, phân biệt này giúp chọn đúng collocation.
